    Proper candle care ensures the best scent throw, a longer burn time, and safe enjoyment of your handmade candle.

    🕯️ First Burn Matters

    • Allow the candle to burn long enough for the melted wax pool to reach the edges of the container (usually 2–3 hours).

    • This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn for the life of the candle.

    ✂️ Wick Care

    • Always trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn.

    • A properly trimmed wick helps prevent soot, excessive flame, and uneven burning.

    ⏳ Burn Time Guidelines

    • Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time.

    • Allow the candle to cool and solidify before relighting.

    🔥 Candle Safety

    • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

    • Keep candles away from drafts, fans, pets, and children.

    • Always place candles on a heat-resistant, stable surface.

    • Do not move a candle while the wax is hot or liquid.

    🛑 When to Stop Burning

    • Discontinue use when ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the container.

    • Burning past this point may cause the container to overheat.

    ♻️ After the Candle

    • Once finished, allow the container to cool completely.

    • Clean out remaining wax and reuse or recycle the jar where possible.
